We are all members of a single world wide community.

Welcome to S.P.A.D.A (Students Pledge Against Domestic Abuse), a place to Meet, Learn, and Share information on domestic abuse and other forms of non-acceptable behaviors.

Throughout our lives we will have disagreements and discussions with our loved ones. How we choose to deal with these issues will define who we are, along with the level of respect and tolerance we have for ourselves and others.

Domestic violence (abuse) is a crime that affects many families throughout our nation and across the globe.  It does not discriminate regardless of your race, religion, level of education, or status in society.  Abusive relationships may be verbal, emotional, physical, sexual, or psychological, to name a few.

ABOUT US

We are not licensed professionals in the field of domestic violence and therefore cannot and will not give personal advice.

We do strive to provide you, through short films, personal interviews and documentaries with information that will help lead to discussions of  domestic violence as an issue that should be taken seriously and not be overlooked.

The short films produced by us are fictitious and do not portray any specific likeness to an individual.  We do try to portray what a person in a domestic violent situation may or may not experience.

Discussion forum(s) are of actual volunteers who choose to voice their opinions.

The personal interviews are from volunteers who have experienced domestic abuse and choose to speak out. For their safety and privacy, their true identity cannot and will not be released.
